For Illustration we had to do a musician portrait. I chose Tim Kasher from Cursive and The Good Life. This was inspired by one of his songs that Cursive performs called, Driftwood: A Fairy Tale. I wanted it to be folky with hand done text and a frame. Also I did it on a wooden panel. :)

So, yeah, like my last post said, this was pretty much the best night ever.

I’ve been listening to Cursive since high school, and I’ve seen them live only three times now, but I finally fucking met Tim Kasher. And it was amazing.

I talked to him, Matt, and Ted for a bit, got them to sign the Eight Teeth To Eat You CD I bought, and got a picture with Tim.

Aghhhhhghghghghgh.

Anyway, after my picture with Tim, which is above, Tim’s lady asked me to take a picture of her with the bassist of the opening band, so I did, which is also pictured above.
